My name is Zach Muffoletto. I first studied luthiery in 2009 at Roberto Venn School of Luthiery. Since then I have been on the lifelong journey of lutherie.
Lutherie to me is more than just a career. Restoring old instruments and creating new ones is a rewarding experience unlike any other. To bring life back to an old instrument for someone else to play is what it is all about for me.
my workshop is in a historic building in Greenfield Massachusetts. Located in the same building as The Museum of Our Industrial Heritage.
Throughout my career I have had the pleasure to work on all sorts of stringed instruments ranging from brand new to over a hundred years old. Each job requires a slightly different approach, that's what keeps it interesting.
